International Exchange Committee (国交委員)
The International Exchange Committee engages in activities which deepens international mutual understanding.
Speaking of the main event of the Committee, it is the very popular potluck party, “Foreign Food Fair (FFF)” , where you can enjoy dishes from various countries.
The International Exchange Committee holds the Foreign Food Fair every year asan opportunity to deepen the friendship and international understanding.This is a potluck party where participants bring delicious and unique dishesfrom various countries.

Foreign Food Fair
This year, the “Recipe Collection” by the PTA International Exchange Committee has been completed. You can view the introduction page of recipes that can be made at home here.
The FFF (Foreign Food Fair) at Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School is a traditional activity of the PTA International Exchange Committee that has been passed down for many years.
This year, we have also valued this purpose and gathered at an off-campus venue without food handling regulations, bringing various dishes from different countries associated with FFF members to engage in exchange.
We have published the recipes of the dishes that were actually brought on the day. All of them are easy to make at home, so please enjoy them with your family.
We will continue to hold FFF in a way that aligns with the times, aiming to preserve the traditional event unique to Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School and to provide a place where parents from diverse backgrounds can interact by deepening their understanding of different cultures through world cuisine.
One Day Trip
On January 11, 2026, the International Exchange Committee conducted a 1-day trip as part of its international exchange activities. The trip involved 22 international students from North Sydney Boys High School in Australia, accompanied by 2 supervising teachers, and 18 students from our school acting as buddies. On that day, 8 members of the International Exchange Committee collaborated with 2 teachers responsible for the international students to provide support for transportation and group activities, resulting in a 1-day trip with a total of 52 participants. Here are the main activities;
Morning: Visited the National Museum of Nature and Science
Lunch: Experienced Japanese cuisine
Afternoon: Explored Ameyoko and Akihabara

KOKUSAI PTA Foreign Food Fair 2023
The FFF (Foreign Food Fair) at the Metropolitan International High School is an activity of the PTA International Exchange Committee that has been handed down over the years. Unfortunately, due to the Corona pandemic, we have not been able to cook and ‘serve’ the food at school since 2020. In order to carry on this traditional activity, we gathered off-campus where there are no restrictions on food handling, and enjoyed the cuisines from various countries familiar to FFF members.
We are happy to share with you the recipes here so that you can enjoy them at home.
From next year onwards, we hope FFF will be held in school in its original style and warm the friendship of parents through the enjoyment of world cuisines!
